Mauser Broomhandle Lanyard Loop
« on: August 24, 2018, 10:04:30 AM »
Hey guys, don't know if anyone is interested or not, but found this over on eBay.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/C-96-Broomhandle-Mauser-Lanyard-Ring-Imperial-German-WW1/332777460847?hash=item4d7b15146f:g:rCwAAOSwwoZa87De

Gotta be better than a key ring, right?

Personally??  No.  Split ring and been around a while.  Probably ok so long as one plans it just for "display."  Wouldn't actually use if for an operational lanyard.   I'd use a modern made spring steel wrapped key ring.  I like the ones used for Dog License.  Really tough little buggers.

I agree with you, Coffinmaker, I got one for display only as it matches the finish on my 1930 9mm rebore. For actual use I have a key ring I bought at Ace Hardware.  ;D
