But Coffinmaker, as we get older aren't we supposed to have a second childhood, or something like that?  You know, buy a 'Vette, etc. ?  :)

Okay, I changed my votes, since I use both plastic and brass.  But on wads, I checked both plastic and nitro, etc cards because that's what I use in all brass.  Plastic hulls get plastic wad only.

Now for the question, I've never heard of reifenhauser hulls.  What common hulls would be an example?

Thank you all kindly, its actually the 19th  :)

I had to allow the Sun, Moon and other celestial bodies to line up... but when they did !!! :)

I took it out back and ran some hand loaded wadcutters and a cylinder full of Hornady Critical Defense through it. It is a little snappy, but not punishing.
The trigger is sweet, I don't have a trigger pull gauge, but it feels very good & smooth.

 :)  HARUMPFF  ;)

At one time in my Misspent youth, I actually admit to being an aficionado of the ubiquitous 1897.  I had five of the things.  I also admit, at the time I was chasing the Brass Ring and ALL the really FAST dudes were shooting the '97.  Mine were ALL OEM Winchester take-down, cut to Eighteen and a Quarter inch barrel, Recoil Pac onna stock, re-chambered to true 2 3/4 with the forcing cone extended.  Like Abilene, I found them to be really really really FUN!!

My Winchesters were not prone to failure (except the ejector spring) but I did rotate them in service to extend their service life.  Really FUN guns.  HOWEVER:

NOT.  And I repeat NOT Cowboy.  Nope no way.  So, as I became more "seasoned" and exited the race for the Brass Ring, I elected I should become more and more "Cowboy."  Exit the 97s.  Also exit that Heathen Fad Smokeless Propellant.  Enter the Hammer Double.  Hammer Double is a separate thread.  Burma Shave

No boxes to check??   I can't see that because I am the creator.  I hope I didn't mess it all up.

SO, change your hull vote to the category in your honor.

Let me know if it still isn't allowing you to change.

Butt Butt wait!!  Da new poll gotz no boxes to putt da X in??  :P

NO NO NO!!  Plastic "WADs".  Just plastic WADs.  Da wad includes the ever necessary Shot Cup.  All Brass Hulls ONLY

Coffinmaker (one wurd),
So you admit to dabbling on the "wild side"  your vote includes PLASTIC hulls.  Interesting, what other habits do you have?

~Mako

PS- I don't slit my shot cups when I use them in a Brass hull, the shot and wad probably hit as almost a clump. I have a bag of BP12 un-slit wads actually meant for non lead loads and a bag of TPS-12 wads (no compression section and used to be called something else).
