As promised long ago here is my USFA Cowboy in .45 Colt.  I was going to buy a .44-40/.44 Special this month but IKE had something to say about that.

United States Patent Fire Arms - .357 magnum

This is the gun (not the exact gun) that got them sued by Colt for the use of "Patent" in their name, hence United States Fire Arms. I think that is when they dropped the .357 Magnum chambering also.

Thanks, the leather was made by Tombstone Leather out of San Diego.  I have a matching holster for the longer barreled Colt.  I've had the rig for about ten years and I believe Tombstone is now out of business.

Tombstone Leather aka Knights Leather Products got back into manufacturing gun leather earlier this year.

Yeah, I reload - can't afford not to.  I use Bear Creek 41 heeled.  You can contact me at ThreeB.Shooting@att.net if you have more questions.  Be happy to jaw.

Which Model of USFA is most popular or used? And how about Bbl. length? I am new here and don't know which way to go. Any info would be most helpful. Craig

Here are pictures of my USFA. This was my first attempt at making Walnut grips and and fitting them to a pistol. I'm in the process of making another set that will fit better.

Johnny,
For a first attempt, those look pretty good!

A work in progress.

:)Rawhide, or anyone that knows, I have a Rodeo II from Longhunter and am getting a 12-22 soon. My question is can I switch the grips? The white ones I just saw on the nickel revolver I just saw look great.

Here's a few new additions I picked up recently, thought you might enjoy. The engraved SAA and 1911 .45 I found used and the Super 38 was on super sale, new.

I have my father's "Civilian" pre-WW-II 1911 Colt in .45 ACP.

There's some features of the original 1911s that I really like.

For my hand the long Trigger and Straight Housing I really like.

The wide, checkered Hammer is nice.

However the original pattern sights leave a LOT to be desired.

Nice. Now who made that rig, Buck? That guy may have a future in leather working.....
