I am brand new to this and looking for some reloading data:
The gun is the Taylor Spencer Carbine in 56-50 made by Armi Sports
Bullet I have is 350 grain Montana Bullet for the Smokeless Powder
Brass - Starline brass
Powder I have in stock considering it’s such a pain to get reloading supplies nowadays
Win 231 and IMR 4198 and one small bottle of Trail Boss
Primer - Winchester Large Rifle
Doing some research I found out that if I take the 90% load data of a 45LC 250 Grain Lead Bullet that should be get me close.
Any help or guidance would be appreciated I did some earlier research and read some of the earlier postings but couldn’t get a definitive answer to my current reloading setup.

I am using 23.5 grains of IMR 4227. Out of all the smokeless loads tried that was the most accurate.
A compressed load of FFg Real BP was also very accurate.
Here is a post with more info.

I use 8.5 grains of Unique in my original Spencer’s. Muzzle velocity matches the original black powder specs. Very accurate and I have shot thousands of rounds.

Thanks to both of y’all , I was able to get 2 small powder IMR 4227 as they are limited from MidwayUSA and I will use the 23.5 data, I am not a BP shooter only shot BP in Cap and Ball revolvers.
But I am planning to venture to the Dark Side once I get a tad of grip on my reloading and shooting the Spencer ;D

I use the 23.5 grain IMR4227 load in Starline brass, Wolfe Large Rifle Magnum primers. I have the RCBS 50-350 CM bullet mold. It works fine. Very accurate considering the crude sights.
