My Dad and I became Cops about the same time, unfortunately Cancer cut his career short after eight years. Leo, You can keep the south side of Chicago, been there, done that. I'll take Texas.

Thanks Leo, He was 59, he died in May of 78. He would have been 60 on Oct. 17th.   It's been at least 20 years, maybe more since I heard that song.

LIT, Old timers like Arcey and I come from a different time in Law Enforcement. I'm actually making more money on retirement than when I was still working. I heard on the News last night that County Employees would not be getting a raise this year.

Leo, She's prolly about 60 by now. My how time flies.  I got my paperwork filled out for Social Security today, when I turn 62 in Oct.
