Of all the hats I have that I wear for Civil War, NCOWS, and GAF, only one, the straw, is light-colored, I can only wear it with my Acting Naval Lieutenant uniform, only in the summer, and I don't have that outfit together yet  . The others are a blue Navy enlisted man's flat cap, a blue McDowell-style Army enlisted man's forage cap, a blue Army officer's kepi, a black civilian hat, a black woolen beret, and a red knitted sailor's cap. I guess I'm a bad guy, but then, to the rebels, I am anyway

That's why the movie people called those Colts in the old westerns "Hollywood 45s"  'cause they could shoot 45 times without reloading..
