Title: Message from Delmonico
Post by: Dalton Masterson on May 31, 2022, 10:41:36 AM
Delmonico asked for this to be posted.

Some may have noticed I have not been around for about 3 weeks.

Long story but at the present I am in Tabatha rehab hospital in Lincoln Nebraska and was in Bryan East before for 9 days.

The day before Mothers Day I didn't feel good and decided to nap all day, Mother's Day was about the same but went into the ER in the evening due to severe back pains, I knew litte would be done but had to have some relief which the did with a shot and then an Rx for meds and orders to call my Dr and get and appointment in a couple days with my Dr. My memory of the rest is not real good, in the morning I was not able to move my legs and the rescue squad had to come get me out of bed and into the ambulance.   More drugs at hospital and testing over several hours decided I had a bad staph infection in my blood and in the area the siatc nerve comes out and at least one muscle was swollen putting a lot of pressure on that nerve.

They started pumping antibiotics in an IV and later a pict line and I ended up here and will be here till at least the 23rd of June, due to having to have a pict line as well as my wife has had two recent full knee replacement.  I'm OK with that it makes sense.

Two problems though, do to server control BS I can not get into CasCity, if someone would copy and paste this to CasCity that would be great.

The other is boredom, if somebody is in the Lincoln area stop in. I'm in Room 124 and my cell number is 402-432-0339, most of my therapy is in the morning.  Kids and I talked about and decided not to bring my desk top in, they have an extra laptop they are going to clean up and load the data for.

Staff here is great, food decent but wish I could be eating my own.

Spoke to him last night, he said he is improving little by little.
Got to go down to a concert in the cafeteria he enjoyed.
