Bvt Col and Capt Barrett somehow single-handedly took on the duties of maintaining our website, monitoriing enlistments, and keeping track of awards. However, as we have grown, so have these responsibilities and I've had to delegate each of these jobs to a different individual. Both the Enlistment Officer, Bvt Lt Col Eagle Eyes Jefferson, and the Awards Officer, Bvt Lt Col and Dr Bob, have been reporting to both me and to Bvt Col Bull Schmitt, who manages the website. This arrangement has become a bit cumbersome.
Consequently, I have decided to slightly reorganize the GAF Adjutant's position. Effectively immediately, Bvt Col Bull Schmitt will be assigned as the GAF Adjutant General and, as such, will continue to be responsible for the website. Reporting to him will be the Assistant Adjutant General (Enlistments) Bvt Lt Col Eagle Eyes Jefferson and the Assistant Adjutant General (Awards) Bvt Lt Col and Dr Bob.
Eventually, I would like to find a replacement for Bvt Col Bull Schmitt as Commander of the Department of the Atlantic, so that he can devote his full attention to his Adjutant General responsibilities. Right now I feel comfortable that he can continue in both positions without undue difficulty until we can find a suitable replacement.
