It is not new. I've owned it for many, many years, but recently fell in love with it again. It is a WestPoint by Savage Arms .410. Single shot, break open. Loaded with #9 shot, it is the perfect tool for critter control when "less than lethal" is desired.

I too have fallen. A Taurus model 450 in .45 Colt with a 2" barrel. It is the one on the right.

Not sure if this qualifies for falling off the wagon, I just traded into a pair of 3 screw .357 mag Blackhawks, Both 4& 5/8ths barrels, One made in 1965, the other 1970.

Sure, why not?   now if you traded a gun or guns for the guns, it's just a detour on the wagons journey  ;)

Nice guns, Neat trade

Nice Blackhawks. I looked hard at getting a pair when I got involved in cas, always liked the look, but knew I was going to shoot duelist so I wound up going down the Vaquero Trail. Only bought 6. But sold the 6th, could not warm up to that 7.5 in barrel. But I like the 7.5 inch on my .38-40 New Service. The difference is that I don’t have to cock the hammer with my thumb with the DA. All that barrel made the Ruger too barrel heavy for me to comfortably operate at any speed.

 :)  Maj. Sterner  ;)

I do think we do have count this as a Partial Fall From the Wagon.  Especially, if your Knew-Two-Ewe Blackhawks are un-altered 3 Screw.  A most fortuitous acquisition.

 :)  Ah Well  ;)

I am Coffinmaker.  I am a Gunoholic and I have fallen.  I recently acquired a pair of Pietta 1851 .44 Barrels and a pair of Kirst Ejector assemblies.  I'm adding '51 Navy pattern barrels and ejectors to my Pietta 1860 Kirst Conversions.  I did manage to resist a pair of all new guns for the project.

Let Us Play Safe Out There

They are original unaltered, But the 1970 BKH34 has been reblued.I may use that for a custom .44 special conversion.

Been looking for a 20" Rossi 92 in .357 for a bit. Found one yesterday and traded for it. Been wanting one for my g'nephew to learn with, they are heavy enough that recoil from 38s is like a 22, and light enough for an 11 year old to handle well. These things have been like hen's teeth to find! This one even has a decent looking stock finish on it. Pics later!

I may be in remission  ???

I was at my friendly LGS today and saw a Marlin 1894 in 38/40 octagon barrel. (these photos)
There were stirrings in the force even some hmmm  :-\  what can I sell ? thoughts.
But in the end, I will pass.........................I think   ::)
I don't load for 38/40................................Yet !  ::)

In another tug in the 'ol' deterioration of a period of improvement:... as it were !

A nifty CZ Model 27 Pistol, was donated to the museum.
As a donation I can NOT own it, but I did get to handle it some, and have been working on the ID description card, (for display) and that appears to satisfy  :-*
Its serial number puts it made in 1939-45, perhaps just before Germany took over.
I'll get way better look Saturday and examine the TG for the date code.

Just think of that Marlin as a lost kitten in the rain. It NEEDS a good home and love. You are abandoning it!

Know what you mean. Been looking for part time work myself. Maybe over the holidays somebody might be needing an old phart.
