I don't hardly ever look at this forum.  Just never took my time.  :(
But I reckon this'd be the place to ask my questions.

The Historical Society of Table Rock, NE is having a "Living History Day" soon for the high school students here.  It's been put on around about 9 or 10 years now.  It gives the kids a day off from classes & an insight into what our area was like 100+ years ago.  There's actual authentic threshing, cooking, construction, shows, antiques, classes, TRHS museums are open, etc, etc.

I would like to do something other than just give a monetary donation (which they are way low on this year).

Anyone got any ideas for a period firearms display?  Maybe show some period guns, ammo, hunting, trapping, etc.
If I put something on, it would give me a reason to buy one of those cool natural canvas suttler's tents, too.   ;D

Give it some thought & post some ideas.
