74 degrees and windy, overcast with spots of blue sky.
It's a mess, but I'm after it, dragged the pile of Sweetgum to the road.
Picking up smaller branches, Spanish moss etc.
"SHE" cleaned the pool and I the filter its swimmable again.  :)
Putting back stuff that was collected and stowaway in the garage.
Damage is limited to the horse stalls. Horse is fine some cleaner washed and blow dried ;D as it were.
Pictures are in early morning light.

I feel truly blessed, I feel we were watch over and spared.

The BIG Oak will require machinery and a crew, too much for this old man  :(
And $$$$ also too much for my paygrade.  :-[  :-\

I should mention the Old Oak was struck by lightning several years ago and was dying
you can see the core was bad.

Abilene - thank you for the heads up.  I think the Spencer cartridges, if they are there, would be in that upper left area that is covered by the torn page - rimfire is always listed first in these catalogs. One of my colleagues has a bunch of the old catalogs but he doesn't remember what years and they're stored away in a box in his garage.  He is retired and out of town until next month.  We will see when he gets back.

No. All their (Cimarron's) BP framed regular Model P's are still 4-click, as well as the Arizona Ranger in the pre-war frame, as mentioned before.   Royce, I don't really know, I can only guess that yours, with BP frame, had the 3-click because it was a flat top target versus a standard Model P. Hard to say.  And besides that, Uberti DOES make mistakes - I saw a fair number of them when I worked at CFA.

Maybe Cimarron eventually switched (had to switch?) to 3-click systems for black powder frames too.

Quote from: Hair Trigger Jim on October 10, 2024, 08:51:36 AMI don't have a Pietta so I could easily be wrong, but I thought they got away with it by using the two-position cylinder pin.  And last I heard, Uberti was still using the old system for their so-called black powder framed guns.

Well that does not make sense since I got this revolver from Cimarron and it is the black powder version. So far as I know Cimarron sells four click Pietta revolvers. All the Uberti revolvers are three click including the way mine was before I modified it. I have not seen and know nothing about the Pietta revolvers.

John, a quick google search brought up this 1918 Sears catalog for $65 on Etsy.  It just so happens that one of the sample pages shown is for ammo, although I don't see Spencer ammo on the part that is visible.
