Would my Cimmaron 1861 Navy barrel fit the Cimmaron 1851 conversion revolver?

Vertical Kool. I would be happy with my Uberti 1861 Navy converted with kirst conversion kit.  I have the gun just don't have the funds right now to get it done.

Got our power back at 4:00 AM this morning. We live in a 55+ Condo community. The Condos are constructed of concrete block with stucco on the outside. They held up pretty well to hurricane winds we had. Due to the extreme amount of wind and rain, some of my friends had water come in through the foundation and lost shingles. Others living near or on the water had terrible damage and devastation. We were lucky.

As my good friend, Major 2 said "I feel truly blessed, I feel we were watched over and spared"

Quote from: Shotgun Franklin on July 28, 2014, 10:09:34 AMThat Roosevelt .38 is the same gun stolen from the museum. It was identified and recovered at a Police 'Buy Back' event. As far as I know the thief was never identified nor charged.

Not a buy back,

In 2006, authorities learned the weapon was in DeLand, Florida. It was reported in a closet of a Postal worker.
He was caught, got 50 hours Community Service & $500 fine.

The famous Colt M1892 revolver was actually stolen two times, the first of which was in 1963. With no security system, someone simply walked in and took the weapon. It wasn't gone for long, however, and was later found in the woods.

The second theft occurred in 1990, when the revolver was on display at the Smithsonian Institute. Again, security was not all that great, allowing someone to walk in and grab it. This time, the search lasted a good bit longer. It took a few days for the theft to be discovered, and the museum didn't get a lead for over a decade. In 2006, authorities learned the weapon was in DeLand, Florida, and it was recovered and returned to Sagamore Hill.

Pappy, the Uberti cartridge gun (conversion and Opentop) barrels will not fit on percussion frames and vice versa.

Phil was a great promoter of the western way and very knowledgeable of all things cowboy. I knew him professionally and visited him one time in LA. He gave me quite a tour including a real movie back lot and Stembridge Arms - probably the foremost firearms and prop rental outfit at the time. Most of all he was a true gentleman of the type rarely seen these days.
