Wasn't bad for having not made them in a couple years.

Ended up with a dozen, ate 6 and have 6 in the freezer on wax paper, will bag tomorrow.  Have about the same amount of meat and will watch for cheap pork.  I think a bunch of those in the freezer is a good idea.  ;D

Quote from: Prairie Dawg on Yesterday at 08:42:26 PMSOLD -- THANKS

I didn't even get a chance to respond yet, I just opened the thread back up a moment ago...

I am still looking if anyone else has one, looks like Prairie's sold within minutes of posting his thread on SASS wire...  That would have been basically perfect too.

Been a while, have had the stuff. Made a bunch of filling the other day and froze it. Also made a large amount of spice mix. Starting to smell good.

Look at people's chili recipes, most use chili powder, no 2 brands being alike and then they add other spices, the same that are supposed to be in the chili powder. ::)

This mix will work for red chili, taco's, enchiladas and anything else that needs it.  Came out at 1 1/4 pounds, extra is vacuum sealed in the dark, got a similar jar of the crushed red peppers if I need to spice up and a pickle jar brewing pepper sauce.
