About ready to leave and go to a funeral, first out of town trip by myself since Sept 2019.   Old family friend but was 92, first I've been since Jan 2017 that was older than me. ::)  Weird thinking about it.

Howdy Y'all,
things have not been very good lately, My mom who is 87 fell and broke her left femur on Sunday,Called the ambulance and took her to the hospital.Took forever to get a room for her. Performed surgery Monday morning and put a rod in her leg. She's doing good, but caught covid while there,Tested negative when she was admitted, and positive yesterday. She'll be transported to a rehab place tomorrow. She is doing good otherwise and has kept her spirits up. The insurance company of the woman that totaled my car finally accepted 100% liability, But is trying to screw me on the value of my car. I have enough to deal with without fighting these morons.

Been through caring for parents, you are in my prayers here.
Rain and 60s here today. Good day for coffee. Lady C brought me home Kona coffee beans from her trip to Hawaii, so had them this morning.

Forgot this morning, trip was fine, not long but wife has been doing most the driving, seems I'm over coughing and passing out for now.  Took the long way home, wen't and visited granddaughter and her dog for a while, took dirt roads part way back because wife whines when she's with me and does that, even stopped on a hill where I could see and peed in the road, felt good in more than one way.  Narrowly missed hitting a turkey vulture, was with in feet. :P

Slow day here @ the U-see-Um  so far- (2PM) , and normally we'll taper off after 3PM , to about no one -zilch
So, I don't expect it will ramp up as the day wears on.
Fact is it's been slow all week.

Bid on and won an original WW1 Victory Medal, I had been in the running on a few other examples, until they exceeded my budget.
This one, I lucked out on, price was right in budget, I'll add it to my Ruby Shadow box display w/ the Croix de guerre 1914–1918

Morning all.

37 and windy in Great Falls today. Drove up from Missoula last night, and had quite the menagerie on the trip. Deer, elk, antelope, a beaver, a black bear and a flock of herons. Also bighorn sheep. I didn’t know herons moved in flocks, but apparently they do.

In other news, I get the joy of scrubbing an airplane today. Very wet/dirty job.

Sacrilac nerve is angry with me, or at least that's what the R Dr told me, pain meds and muscle relaxer and have to make appointment with GP.

Oh and I have to take it easy, year will have to use a yardstick and a stop watch if I slow down much more. ::)

Hit 94 with high humidity today. Iced tea instead of coffee by afternoon. I hate our weatherman...

Evening all.

Currently 55 and sunny, with 35mph winds here in Great Falls.

Today was interesting from the perspective of this junior enlisted man. I learned some new skills to help out other shops, attended several briefings, sampled the respirator air system, swept a 1 acre hangar by myself, and picked up rocks from the concrete taxiway. Big day in Big Blue. ::)

Well 3 stepsforwar and 2 back became at least 6 back the last few days, took 4 EMTs to get me out to the ambulance this morning.  Good news is not my heart or lungs.  The conclusion and still waiting on tests is that my ciatic ciatic nerve is being pressured.at the trunk by some sort infectionthey ket me, third trip to Er since Sunday. One on Tuesday they had to 5 drag me off the couch.

Copy and pasted from my other coffee group

Quick up date, I can not walk.  Some sort of what appears to be a muscular swelling possibility from an infection is pushing on my sciatic nerve.

Waiting on tests should be here by morning, neural surgeon was in. If I am lucky antibiotics will fix it, but need to find exact nature of it.

Could also require surgery to be fixed.

Lot likely but still a possibility I may be a low end paraplegic the rest of my life.

No need to sugar coat it, I decided I like him, no BSing.

Hopefully have more answers in the morning.

I also think it says draw blood till he turns pale.

I am good spirits despite the fact this sucks.  We were laughing earlier about the white board thing saysto call for help if I want to get.  Why would I want to get up, they bring me everything I want with in ther power. And it only hurts rea bad if I try to move
