I just don't see any of these--the monstrosity from Standard or even the fantasy guns--taking the place of Hillberg's COP 357 derringer.

These things were like a Mossberg Brownie that grew up, or a sawed-off Lancaster.  Striker-fired DA, 4 shots, and at one time custom-made speedloaders were actually available (from a guy in Nevada IIRC).   Weight was around 28-30 ounces, and nicely balanced for use as a skull-cracker.  Carried nicely in a coat pocket too.

I had one for a while, it was actually much better than the press reports would have you believe.  Infinitely better than the High Standard derringer it replaced.

Edited to add: I think, since it was used in Blade Runner, it would qualify for the Space Aliens Shooting Society.

Edited again to ask, "Why does everyone want to shoot Aliens?  Are we running out of Cowboys??"

Probably,  Someone somewhere has their panties in a wad over it....

I mean with " Indigenous persons" , all upset there no "Cowboy's VS Indians or redskins any more

Employee's of the Bovine industry & " Indigenous persons" or or First Nations

and now it is no longer illegals'  or  illegal aliens  its  "undocumented" persons

But alas the thread drifts ....
The subject is  hair brain butt ugly designs or those so abstract they come full circle to cool  I:E Steam punks  ;D

No ...but I was going to have Dan Block carry that out also the no tool take down tab...

But both USPS & UPS shipping was $54 shipping one way < I pulled the wood and repacked in a cut down box and it was still $49
insured  ::)   all in all round trip & the install would be $250  :o
That's fool hardy @ 150 + 100 I passed ....

Actually its not spring but the handlining, it is rather heavy and my R hand grip hold is "weak " ...I have to support it with just the Right hand to pull back the bolt ...and there is the problem,  I can shoot it because it has the vertical front grip...It is just uncomfortable to handle with my right and I fear I haven't got good control

I can bench my Milsurp's *  and support pistols with my left hand but I fear CAS lever actions (NCOWS)  is out of the question, until either the swelling  gets better or ?

I am contemplating letting it go on down the road  :(

*  I load my own reduced rounds in 30/40 , 30'06 and 303 Brit

Evening all.

Weather was snowy. But what can you do.

In other news, both myself and the better half got a $2 raise today. So that’s definitely nice.

Are you speaking of how hard it is to cock? Do you have a lightened spring kit in it? If not, I have one I can send you to see if it will help.
