Thanks for bringing this one back out.
It was a fun shoot , I have another 76 45-60 that is the same except it has an octagon barrel six groove in almost as good bore / rifling . But for some reason I shoot this old Round Barrel gun a little better using the same ammo .  The Round barrel on this one seems rather heavy . Nothing in the letter about that but it is hefty ! Was shooting on a private beach , you should have seen the sand fly when the target was missed .,,,,,DT

Rick I have given you the Sr. # for this one and a couple others for your survey  , so he should have the Sr. # already  . As I have stated  in the past  , I no longer give out Sr# to any of my rifles  for personal surveys ,  because the Sr. # end up being passed around  . Not something I care for . So the only time I will give out a Sr. # is if a possible buyer would like to check out the letter . And I'm not selling anything . Good to hear from you , been a while .,,,,,,DT

King, DT, ever see those pics. where shooters have a dime on their targets next to 4-5 bullet holes? I tried that, i only got 3 shots, before i ran out of "dimes". :o

Good to hear from you Amigo , are you getting in any shooting yet ? That wood pile should be getting on up there by now . Time for a break and some shooting . PS that scabbard you sent me is a perfect fit for my 73 44 carbine . Every time I see it , reminds me of my Pard .     Thanks again Amigo .,,,DT
