Well folks, I have a friend who has gotten into the old west style firearms as of late. He purchased a uberti 76 in 4560, made up some reloads and took her out to dance. At 50 yards he said he was hitting all over the paper, tried for several weeks, and just couldnt get her to perform. My aquaintance is a very arrogant, self centered type, so instead of asking for help, he decided, its the rifle. Called me, and asked if I would be interested, asking price, 450. OF COURSE! I then took her out and shot a first group at 100 of 3 inches, I thought she wouldnt shoot. He gave me the brass and some reloads, I pulled a bullet, and discovered a 454 cal, lead pistol bullet.i called him to discuss his error, and do the right thing, with fair value of the rifle. Told me, I was mistaken! He knows what bullet to use. Should I push the issue, or grin like a fox, and leave it be?
