Title: Truth and Justice 1860 Anderson .44 Colts at Railroad Flat
Post by: Tuolumne Lawman on May 29, 2023, 03:31:39 PM
Well, I took my pair "Truth and Justice" 1860 Anderson .44 Colt (BHA) revolvers as my main match revolvers at the annual High Sierra Soot Out at Railroad Flat, CA this last weekend. Out of 120 pistol shots in the main match, I hit 119.  Drop one due to my own "being too quick!"

Looking good, TL. Congrats on 119 out of 120. That's quite good for a yearly match. T&J did you well.

Thanks.  I shot them last fall at the October version of the match and some local ones.  This is one miss is the first time I have missed with them in all that time!  I have never had a pair of pistols shot as well as these.  They are literally an extension of my hand!

First off, congrats on a great match. Second, you certainly looked snazzy shooting that well.

Always enjoy your posts because I know you will be posing looking period correct and having fun doing so.

Thanks!  I have been in SASS since 1994, and NEVER worried about shooting fast.  Just having fun, and relatively period correct.  I can not say enough how incredibly accurate I am with the pair of Dave Anderson Conversions!  I hit all the shots from a moving ore cart rolling down tracks (electric motor).
