Message from the General (update)
« on: November 23, 2020, 08:24:40 PM »
He has the WU Wu phlu or what ever they are calling it today.  He is holed up in his camper and has little internet.  He says he fire, just tired and his voice did sound rough.

He wanted me to pass this along.

I am now in sisclusion, today, taste/smell gone, at times a wave of confusion over-welled me! Additionally, 3x times today, a wave passed over me today, 3x times total confusion! Sorry, don’t k where to go from here?
I see the big picture! Don’t know what to do?

Hang in there Jerry!

Not totally sure, but I think I may have had Covid on my return from Europe last December.  About 10 days after our return I lost sense of smell and taste, felt very fatigued, and developed a bad cough.  Thought I was getting the flu or perhaps bronchitis again so dosed on my usual meds and my nebulizer.  Symptoms went away early January except for the fatigue which lasted for another month or two.  Didn't make the connection until around April but couldn't get tested as I wasn't showing any symptoms by then.

Similar symptoms, in January , felt tired and sore , thought it was my simits kicking in  along with a mean cough.
Stayed home two days on PTO , felt OK and returned to work , Cough lasted about 3 weeks
One of my carpenters got the same symptom when I went back  :o  was out 3 days and a 3 week cough.

I Didn't make the connection until around Mid-March

Hope your feeling better guys.

Major 2, that's the rub, I wonder how many people have had it and never knew it? I remember not feeling well back in the spring and taking a few days off, but that was back before all the ruckus. The wife, being in worse health, has had numerous covid tests, all negative. I've never been checked but wonder if I didn't have it back then.

No longer in quarantine, not Covid, high blood pressure has affected my senses. High enough that I can no longer drive for DAV. My home meter was a little higher then a calibrated medical grade. Still will volunteer at VA. Trying to get an appointment with my doctor.

Thinking the same for me in January, just some things never added up, if so likely part of the reason I'm behind the curve where I should be.
