Krags post Span Am war

.....apologies for the crappy picture. This is a picture of the 12th Engineers in London, August 1917. OG uniform, campaign hats, old style IW/SAW canteens, current issue belts or bandoliers. From the book the American Krag Rifle and Carbine by Joe Poyer. More ideas for EEM. Still want an 1903 Springfield though. Big worry now for those of us that don't have bunkers with 20 year supplies of powder and primers. Will we be able to shoot much?

It seems like things are starting to loosen up a little.  Hope we start seeing some powder and primers soon.

Don't need to shoot much.
Just the ones who own the bunkers with the 20 years supply of powder, primers and lead.  ;) ;D

The opening is a long horizontal oval on the left side of the receiver - they're called 'Mark 1's' and are otherwise identical to the normal '03 receiver.

Neither fish nor fowl, they were in service post-WWI.

Heck, if you want a project gun, I've got a 1903 MkI barreled action I could be talked out of.  Every time I try to work on it I get sidetracked with vehicular problems.  :-[

....ha, I've contemplated that. What's really funny. There was a complete stock with forstock and all the furniture and buttplate with oiler passed through EBAY. I was tempted but passed on it. I'm with you on vehicles. Everything I have right now has double digit birthdays.
