And yes, Uberti discontinued the new model 3. I just happened to call Taylor's about it and was told they still have several in stock, so I ordered one sent to y FFL.

Heavy bullets don't really fix "Stove Piping" in the '92. Stove Piping is caused by the lifter bouncing the round around. The faster you run the rifle, the more pronounced the bouncing becomes. this is because the Cartridge Guides leave too much play in the cartridge lift. As I mentioned before, the right side cartridge guide needs shimmed to just kiss the cartridge case which stabilizes the cartridge.
