Title: U.S. Marine Corps & Naval Regulations, 1860's-1890's
Post by: Zouave Officer on January 31, 2008, 11:41:02 AM
I was wondering if anyone knew the Title for any of the U.S. Marine Corps or U.S. Navy Rules & Regulations for the 1860's to the 1890's?

I've got copies of a good many of the United States Army Rules & Regulations, Drill Manual's, Custom's of Service, etc... from the 1850's to the 1920's, however my research on the Marine Corps & Navy are rather lacking I'm sad to say. Any information would be very much appriciated.

The GAF Website has Marine Corps (1859-1900) and Navy (1852-1897, missing 1862 and 1886 regs) at :  http://www.grandarmyofthefrontier.org/

The Landing Party Manal (LPM) covers much in the way of duties, ceremonies and drill for both services.  I have yet to find that available on-line.
