Oh and you read that you can tell I'm on my phone and on a lot of drugs.  The mixture gave me at about 10am no way I could have drove I'd I could walk I never could have found the car.  Called my daughters to tell them I was here and the youngest told me that was good because it was pretty plainI was on drugs. ;D. They both good kids and worry about me

"Screw the Golden Years!" - Delmonico

It's good that your spirit and sense of humor are still intact. Or just good drugs. Let's hope antibiotics are the fix.

I know you feel that it shouldn't be sugarcoated, but a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down. At least Mary Poppins claims it's so.

Morning y'all.
Coffee and tea are ready.

I'll be praying for you, Del.

'Tis 63 and partly sunny. "Hot and humid. Partly cloudy in the morning then becoming mostly sunny. Highs in the lower 90s. South wind 10 to 15 mph. Heat indices to 98."

Glen getting older is not for Sissies! Now give me my yardstick back.

Major Prayers for your mother and your family.

I am unable to get out. Doctor doesn’t advise any more than a few minutes at a time.
So to fill in the endless hours of boredom , I have taken up painting and sketching.  So it occupies my time.
I have out lived the original expectancy from doc’s. So I am thankful.

Y’all keep it out of the ditches.

Got to 93 outside. 82 inside.  ::)

Hit 94 here today [the 12th] and is scheduled for 93 on the 13th with high humidity still. Made coffee this AM and once I got my first cup, turned the element off. The rest of the pot got iced, worked pretty well.
Del and Litl, praying for you both. Maybe read Psalms 91, it's been a true comfort to me over the decades.

The last few days have been extremely nice. low 80's & low humidity. mornings in the mid 60's
and evenings with nice breeze low 70's.
Sitting out with Blaze has been pleasant.

I figured, I might pay a visit to my frendly FFL today  :-\  no capital stash,  so just case gazing  :( I suppose.

I have a Sorority of 23 women, coming in for a tour of the Museum tomorrow  8)
That could be interesting  ;)

and the Coast Guard is holding a Qualification of Certificate graduation ceremony.

Morning all.

Took a nice hike/fishing/elk season scouting trip yesterday into the Bob Marshal Wilderness. Determined that there are in fact elk and bears in the woods, so I suppose the idiom about bears and the woods is likely true. I’m going on a backcountry elk hunt this fall with some guys from my unit, and since they cut the 4 of us going on the trip loose at 9am, we decided to take advantage of this opportunity.

This morning I’m going through Amazon looking for books to read in the desert. There’s one I am trying to find, but I don’t remember the title or author. I can tell you exactly where it is on the shelf at the library in my hometown, but that’s it. So far no luck.

Evening all.

65 degrees and windy here in great falls. Not bad weather.

Mrs TK came up to visit over the weekend, so we did some fun things around town. Saw Buffalo Jump park, which was neat. Lots of interesting history. She is now making the journey home, accompanied by our furry companion.

Was 85 and sunny as we traveled today. The Missus and I are on our way to see family and spoil great-kids. Looking forward to lots of hugs this week.

Having a cup, and had some oatmeal, heading to the Museum about 8:30 or so.

Expecting 94° and guessers say 35% rain, calling for 60%-70% tomorrow and Friday when I'm not at the place.
we'll see about that  :-\ ( least I got the yard mowed yesterday.
