Anyone Shooting Hornady mono flex 250 grain factory ammo or roll your own

I have a winchester miroku 1886 45 70 and am toying with the idea of either loading h8rnady 250 grain monoflex
or trying their factory ammo.  What kind of results are you getting with this bullet or the factory ammo. Particularly interested in the results from the miroku or even Italian guns with new barrels as opposed to original winchester guns.
