Title: WTS Eureka Arsenal M1894 Rough Rider Belt. .30-40 and .45LC NEW
Post by: FTrooper on May 20, 2016, 06:14:07 PM
I have an extra Eureka Arsenal made M1894 Krag Cavalry Belt. This is his 1st USV Rough Rider version with .45LC loops instead of .38. These are the nicest repros you will find. Eureka Arsenal/James Kanne stopped making these several years ago! This one looks new and came from the collection of Jack Stewart (who wrote "Cowboys in Uniform").  These were $275 new+shipping when James made them. SO this one will be $300 postage paid in the USA.

I can't tell from the photos.  Is this the single or double 30 caliber style loops?

Its is the 100 round .30-40 Krag. 12 round .45LC double loop. James Kanne made all the hardware himself and its light years ahead of the other reproductions. All the little details like the small line of grommets are there. The top and bottom of the belt have the proper welt to keep the cartridges in place. The color is the correct very dark blue. AS Drydock notes, these are amazing. The only difference between these and originals is that the originals did have woven loops, these are sewn but so masterfully that you almost can't tell also these will fit up to a 54 inch waist!!!
