Morning y'all.
Coffee and tea are ready.

Got another gully washer last evening.

Taking Micah to a week of camp in the north woods after church.

'Tis 58 and sunny. "Patchy fog in the morning. Mostly sunny in the morning  then partly cloudy with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs in the middle 80s. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent."

We get to look forward to upper nineties and above here this week.  But hey, it IS July!

And we don't have to go out in it unless we choose to. ;D

Guessers said 72% rain yesterday, while it did happen elsewhere, we were in the 28% zone.
We got Nada, zilch, nothing, the wall was just a few miles West though and we did get a touch of cooler breeze. Staring at 95° again and 50% TS's.

On the more domestic front, Publix Market had pork loins two for one sale.
They offered a couple of different marinades', so I opted for one of each, Rotisserie seasoned & Applewood.
I froze one and am doing the other today.
I have some fresh greens; I'll do up in chicken broth w/ some onions.

Plan to stay put and chill in the AC

Well I just drug myself out of bed.  No idea but most people just blame food poisoning because they got food from the evil window people. ::)

But I made biscuits and gravy, picture in Cosie's.  Was funny because it was planned.

With the way things go I have always got 2-3 meals in the freezer since I would rather eat my leftovers than buy factory made ones.   Have stuff for at least 2-3 others that are quick.

Morning all, hope you are all well today. Gonna be 100 here today, and the rest of the week near it. Of course we have Vacation Bible School at Church this week, but we moved it to the evenings. Goal for today is assembling a new 3D printer the Missus bought me for my birthday. They are pretty neat to fool around with. She is absolutely in love with her new SUV, so that turned out well. You all have a good one.

The cats and I are into week 4 of being on our own.  This no need for bail for any of us!

Jake’s out in the fenced backyard.  He has become used to getting out from about 6 AM  til 6 PM everyday now.  He was not happy on the days that we went over 100 degrees.  Then he had to come in so I could close up the house and keep the over night cool in.  Still haven’t had the AC kick in, even with OTs from 100-105 during the afternoons.

Samantha just came in the den, and I believed she gave me her itinerary for the day.  After much Meowing discussion I think she said she was going to go eat and the go back to sleep.

We are now only expecting high 80’s for then next 10 days.  No rain, but cloudy the other day over the valley, and we had a power outage over our entire zip code area here in Northwest Reno.  No word from the power company as to the cause, but we were out for about an hour.
Severe clear outside with deep blue skies, right now.  Got a Doc Appt. for hearing aids this afternoon, so Jake will have to give up some out side time.

92 HI 101, Riley peed very fast a bit ago.  I'm staying in.  Had computer prob last night, still had it this morning.

Keyboard went out, went and got one yesterday, saved $10 and got a wired one again.  Everything went fine with new one till late evening, was doing weird things, would not open windows but phone had WiFi, so mine should work because it's wired also.  Again this morning.  Noticed a glow to the side of my desk.  Old keyboard had decided to work again and was on.  Worked on an off.  Shut it down and it works.  Old mouse is in the drawer, may add it back and put the newer one in the drawer with it's plug in thing.  Don't care what anyone says, wired is better.

It's been cloudy and light drizzle since the morning, the most is moving out east into the Ocean now.
It did keep thing cooler presently 83 degrees and drizzle has quit.
I decide to make scratch spaghetti sauce for tonight, it is simmering now.  :)

Heavy thunderstorms here right now, Heard the weirdest thunder, it actually sounded like it was reverberating, lasted about 15 seconds. Never heard anything like that before.

Now have a mouse again instead of a hamster.  Just need to go get me a wired printer some time for this one they lost the power cord and the book for.

Glad tomorrow is better, got to play modern guy and go to a baby shower.  One of youngests best friends and one of the kids I used to work with, one I really liked.  Supposed to bring a book we liked as a kid instead of a card so for many reasons I got Mike Mulligan and his steam shovel.

Hit 103 today, it has "moderated" to 101 right now. Got the new-fangled printer up and running. Goal is to stay in AC as much as possible. Left overs tonight, and watch the Cards-Cubs game. Some good old fashioned baseball last night in that one.

Supposed to bring a book we liked as a kid instead of a card so for many reasons I got Mike Mulligan and his steam shovel.

That was one book from my childhood I made sure my kids got as well.

I could report on the weather here, but it's about what the other Nebraskans have been saying.  However, at the moment my wife is at her folks' farm between Aurora and Henderson with the kids, and she just called to say they're not leaving yet because they're getting a severe thunderstorm and hail.

When it comes to Nebraska weather, anything is possible.
