Though I have not completely finished, (actually I'm never really finished tweaking and adding)
But here it is as of today, open for viewing at the Museum.
-
Awesome!
-
Pretty neat there Major. Is that a Maxim?
-
Yes Sir, an MG 08 on a rare Slead mount, its deactivated but otherwise all there.
We have three Machineguns on display, the MG 08, a MG 42 and a Japanese Type 99 both in the WW2 exhibit.
-
What, no mud? ;D ;)
-
Concessions and artistic license must be made for ADA accessible, but I will provide a take home bag
of dirt and bottled water kits for the do-it-yourself adventurers.
-
That IS generous! ;D
-
Need a few replica rats too. Empty brass too.
-
Hungry rats? Don't take off your boots!
-
And some poop and the have rotted arm of a corpse sticking out somewhere. Pluss some empty bully beef cans.
-
Been reading about this, may have to figure out what got unplugged behind the entertainment center. Wife just uses her tablet. I've read the book several times, bought it from sclastic books when I was in Jr High and have seen both version and want to see this one.
-
John Boy's version was just on the other night
also stared Ernest Borgnine, Donald Pleasence, Ian Holm (think Bilbo Baggins of LOR) and Patricia Neal, a
pretty solid cast.
There is also a 2022 film a re-adaptation of the book. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1016150/
No Bully Beef cans as yet I'll look into that, but I have made 1917 HARD BREAD packages.
-
I thought I had included the link for the new one, must be the drugs. ::) Or sometimes a dog comes and bothers me, or the wife. ;D
A better version of this is available on wiki pee pee under corned beef.
1910 date.
-
That is a great display that you have set up! Congratulations on all of the work you have done.
-
And where does one come to see this amazing set up?
-
Kissimmee, Florida just 3 miles from mouse world. https://www.museumofmilitaryhistory.com/

Roger:
You done yourself and the museum proud.
-
Thank You and you have helped me, with your donations, the Span-Am uniform and the helmets you sent.
and then here is what I came up with so far in Mexican Boarder Punitive Raid
-
Entry into the Trench walk thru...
then the exit to the rest of the WW1 exhibit and the WW1 Navy Display.
-
A few more un-related to the trench exhibit.
Revolutionary War and an exterior shot of the museum... and couple of the outside vehicles.
