Does anyone make a 38cal barrel or can sleeve the existing barrels on 36 caliber Pistols
-
I had mine sleeved by Gary Barnes @ Cartridge Conversions

Great job , however Gary is about to be off doing Horse shows for about 12 weeks... He might be able to work you in when he gets back. :-\

Bittertrigger,
The answer to both of your questions is... Yes!
Does this mean you want to know who?
How about you tell the readers more about what firearm you have?
They might be able to direct their replies to better to meet your needs?
Just a thought on my part.
My best,
Blair

I dropped a R&D conversion cylinder in to my Pietta 1862? Police (actually a short barreled 1861) that I had used a .38 S&W cartridge reamer on the chambers. The .38 S&W .361 diameter bullet works quite well with very acceptable five shot string groups. Certainly good enough for CAS pistol targets. I have found that my BP loads group tighter than the smokeless version.

I have an R&D conversion with a lined barrel. Its cambered in 38LC I shoot 38 spl. brass with hollow based wad cutters . I didn't think it was lined when I first bought it but found it was. I shoots so good with hollow based wad cutters I have never changed my load. My R&D is evidently an early one as it is serial # 39.
