Colt--

Here are a few photos of the screw in and out of a 2nd Model single action to give you at least an idea of relative size.  The screw has a relatively large, thin head.  Last photo includes the banana-shaped flat spring it holds in place.  After looking at it again, I believe this is a spring I made as a replacement.  It works but I cannot guarantee it is exactly original in shape or dimensions.

Hi,
Thanks to all who helped me with my Merwin repair.  I couldn't have figured out how some of it worked without your help.
Regards
Colt

Remember, there's a "Merwin" in "For the good of the order."

Well, maybe not, but there outta be.  But there is a "do good."  Also "God," "deer," "fort," and "food."

But no "beer."  Nonetheless, I raise a beer to your efforts.
