How to keep dry more or less

What do you all think about this for CW / IW rainwear given I am an infantry CPT 98% of the time???

Im no expert, Ive been getting alot o guidance myself but I think it would be okay. I know that officers were buying their stuff so I dont see why not. If you are doing a later period you could also consider a slicker, they were sometimes purchased by troops.

They also make a rubberized raincoat that would be great for the later part of the IW and SAW I should think
