Cloudy today with an of-n-on misty rain. Dry after I got home. A little work on the car, and now waiting on the processing time to be up on some beans I'm canning (or snaps, as Arcey would have called them).

Good morning all! Trinity glad you are on the mend. Major, welcome back and congrats on a nice shoot! Got a couple of toolheads adjusted for some new calibers on my Dillon 550 yesterday but still feeling lousy due to getting a cyst cut out of my neck last week. Y'all have a good one!

We've made it halfway thru the wife's absence, and so far no one has ended up in jail or the pound!   ::)  I think we can make it.

So far we have had over three weeks of sunny hot weather (as in NO rain), and are looking at least ten more days of the same.  After all the rain we had this spring, the sage and cheat grass have grown massively.  Now it has dried out and is ready to blow-up.  We have already had several small wildfires in the area, but the fire departments have knocked them down pretty quickly.  Think we?re going to have a long fire season this year.

I hate wild fires

Good article Major

Slim how many bales a year do you go thru?
We use about 50 here. It?s hard to find good straw here we would use a bit of that too. We use shavings instead.

Coffee is up...

Muggy and a possibility of rain later today.

Sheesh, hot and humid today, welcome to Southern Illinois in July. Worked on freeing up some old screws on a Model 12 Winchester this morning, they are soaking in Kroil right now. Also, got some new grips far a 1911 from Altamont, dressed up a Super .38 real nice.

Fancy name for brown noser. ::)
Gotta climb the ladder somehow.  ;D

Afternoon all.

Another 5-1 today.  Nothing of note happened. It's still cloudy and threatening to rain/thunder, but that's an everyday occurrence here.

I would really be happy with a nap, but I have to take the lady to the Big R for some boots. Whole I'm there, I'll look and see if they have any decent holsters for my P32.

That's some nice grips, Deacon.

TK, good luck finding a holster for your .32. I've never really found one I like for my LCP. I suspect they would use the same holster, since the LCP and P380 Kel Tec are almost clones. Every one I've tried seems to double the thickness of the little gun. Could just pocket carry it, but I don't like the idea of a "no safety" pistol rattling around in my pocket. Don't want to carry a pistol with an empty chamber, since an unloaded pistol is just a club, and an 8oz club isn't worth much.

Kid, check out these holsters, they're very well made and reasonably priced.

TK, they make a holster/guard that is just Kydex molded to cover the triggerguard. They have a cord that slips around your belt, so when you draw the gun, it pulls the clip free. Look on fleabay, there are severral on there for $10-$15.

TK I used a pocket clip from KelTex and a cheap Uncle Mikes for mine. It kept it secure in my front pocket. However the link from the Major is a good source.

Kid I have several of the Desantis Nemesis pocket holsters
one each for my S&W Mod 36 /60 , one for my Beretta 950BS Jetfire and one for my Vest Pocket Gelesi.

They stay put in the pocket , and draw slickly
when planets align...do the deal !
