That's where I got mine last time, too. Good to see they're still listing it. It's good thread.

I'm curious Ned, as both are probably hard to find right now, why Pietta as opposed to Uberti?

Ned, I deferred to Mike (Coffinmaker) in a PM to request your questions answered, he slicked my Capt. Schaffer.

I can tell you about my Pietta London Model, it had the better shape grip back then (and it was made of steel as it should have)

I bobbed the 61 barrel it came, with and had the Kirst cylinder fitted, the lined 51 Barrel interchanges I will tell you, this it is and was not the most cost-effective conversion, but it is uber cool regardless.

My Miroku Winchester, a standard rifle, has never fired anything but black powder cartridges.  It never will until I'm in the ground and my wife sells it to someone who is afraid of cleaning guns.  LOL

Thank you!  I do like the looks of their London Navy, and may have to get one.  I think the Navy Colt is probably my all time favorite pistol.

Some years back when I started down the road of trying a filler, I came across the PuffLon product and tried it.  Have stuck with it and had good results.  To my knowledge it is the only product sold as a filler and seems to do the job well.  I use it in couple different cartridges for cast loads, including the 45-75.  Just a suggestion.

keep us posted on how things go on the load work.

Gives new credence to "one mans trash, another mans treasure."  Who ever dropped 32K on that target is more than welcome to visit my place.  I could use his kind of fertilizer.
