My Schofield is coming!

Just got news from Tammy at Taylor's that my 7" 45 Colt Blue Uberti Schofield should be in next week,  They are clearing customs now in Washington DC.  It seems like I have been waiting forever.  I had about given up, and was going to use the Antiqued Remington that I got from EMF to do an article on.  Then I got sidetracked into considering a pair of 44-40 Remingtons.

Now, however, all is well.  THe Schofield will go well with my 58 Remington gated conversion in .45 Colt and Liberty II SxS.  It will go equally well with either my .56-50 Taylor's Spencer, or my newly aquired 44-40 Marlin Century Ltd.

When there is harmony in your arsenal, Life is good! I have regreted selling the Schofield I had before I even shipped it!

Ive had (2) 45 Schofields Ubertis blue 7 inchers on order since Sept of 06.
May I ask when ya ordered yours, maybe it will give me some kind of hope when I will get mine.

Yippee!

Got my Schofield yesterday!  It is a 5" 45 Colt Uberti blued Wells Fargo model.  I had originally ordered a 5" Wells Fargo, but had changed it to a 7" cavalry.  They called me when the shipment came in and told me no 7" had come, and asked If I was OK with my original order of a 5".  Of course I said yes.  I will just wear it in my crossdraw 5" COWS holster instead of a left hand 7".

I may even spring for a El Paso Saddlery spring clip shoulder holster (pun intended).

It looks good with my 8" Remington 1858 gated factory conversion and either my Taylor's Spencer 56-50 carbine or my new Marlin 1894 Cenruty Ltd. 44-40.
