Boer War Khaki Drill Uniforms
« on: July 02, 2014, 06:11:20 PM »
Gentlemen,
Jerry Lee of What Price Glory responded to my inquiry about the possibility of his company making Boer War khaki drill uniforms (I e-mailed him about ten minutes ago).  He said they have been ordered and should be in soon!  I think this is rapidly becoming one of, if not THE best company for GAF!

Jerry is a great vendor.  I have purchased quite a bit from him.  Mostly WWII stuff though.

I've been a customer for quite a while myself.  I just think it's really cool that he's moving more into our period all the time.  Great vendor!

I might point out that the Brtish Kahki of this period is virtualy identical to the American M1899. (We copied it) to the point that the Army bought several thousand from a Hong Kong Contractor and issued them to troops in the Phillipines.  All you really need to do is add the proper shoulder straps and buttons.  Hopefully WPG will figure this out as well
