73 here right now and just as nice a day as you could wish for. The Missus is on her way home from visiting her Aunt and some other friends in Illinois, so the house will feel complete again.

I am now human again, got my stovepipes on I got 2 1/2 years ago, very low mileage, last worn to hospital Dec 19 2019.  Used a pair of hospital socks and soaked them in hot water and wore them 5 hours, came off with out the jack.  Tomorrow a pair of brand new wool hunting socks and the same and 3-4 hours.  Pants in tomorrow and maybe a hat,  and jeans instead of bibs.  Not sure I'm ready to try to good pants. ::)

Working at the Museum today, adding to some existing exhibits and logging in a collection donated yesterday.
Both myself and the other curator and several volunteers will be on hand.

Evening Y'all, had to replace the front brake pads on the wifes car today, Of course it was lightly raining while I was doing the work, I got a sun shade out of storage and put that us so I didn't get soaked to the skin,I finished it just in time for the rain to stop and the sun came out and was a warm spring like day.
Respectfully,Major E.A. Sterner

Evening all.

My return pilgrimage to Missoula was uneventful, if snowy.

Weather on this side of the Rockies is supposed to be in the high 30s tomorrow, with a dip back into the negative side of the mercury after that.

Howdy gents, 44 here right now, forecast of snow on Friday again. Figures, Saturday is our shoot! Oh well, we will see what the Weather folks have to say as it gets closer. TLOTH and I are taking it easy today. My goal is to drink coffee, so far I am on track.

Got one of those blind pig finding an acorn pictures last night with my cell phone, hard to believe he is almost 3 since we gave him June 1 as his birthday and know it's close.

He really has this cat herding down pat, if they do naughty things he tells them, if they don't listen he comes and tells me. ;D

Busy week coming up, for the Museum.
1st... I have the
"Hot Rods for Heroes" Veteran Celebration
4th Annual "HOT RODS FOR HEROES"
CAR, TRUCK & BIKE SHOW
Saturday March 19, 2022 @ The Oviedo Mall in Oviedo, FL.

then I have the portable display at the Battle at Narcoossee Mill Civil War Reenactment the following weekend.

In addition, I have accepted a very important donation, 3 Japanese WW 2 machine guns and Pacific Theatre Artifacts. from the estate of USMC COL E. J. Buckley, D2 1st Marines @ Guadalcanal and postwar Director of USMC Intelligence.  (I am overwhelmed and completely stoked  :D )

1) Type 92 Heavy Machine Gun
, 7.7 mm
Nicknamed “woodpecker” by US Marines. Missing tripod mount.

2) Type 99 (possibly Type 96) Light Machine Gun, 7.7 mm Arisaka... Has spare barrel in original sheath. (We already have a Nambu Type 96 is 6.5 mm Arisaka see attached photo )

3) Type 11 Light Machine Gun, 6.5 mm Arisaka

Howdy all time change Sunday coming up.
75° today and start  tomorrow- then the bottom is suppose to fall out.

Glen glad you are getting around

Major working on cars is like calving cows- the worst weather will be added.

TK just curious, when the honey dipping has slow spells do they haul pool water?

Major - some really great donations. Have you seen Colorado’s Dragon man collection. He may be a source for heavy weapon parts.

You all keep it between the ditches and always keep your powder dry.

I’m not sure DPHHS would like that business model too much. ::)

Evening all.

I have been down the past 2 days with another case of food poisoning. Not sure where I got this one, but it has not been pleasant. Still not 100%, but I’ll head back to the plows tomorrow.
