Any Word on R&D's .44 Gated-Conversion for the 1860?

I got a new snubnose 1860 that I'm dying to get converted! I know the Midway USA website is showing a release date of the first week of January 2006.

I just got off the phone with the woman at R&D....
1860 Colt Conversion should be ready by Spring ,
Cost will be the same as the current 51/61 navy
Price:
$225 for the kit
$ 70 Dill and Tap frame for conversion ring mounting screws, cut and polish basic loading groove.
$200 Ejector Assembly installed/barrel refinished
$ 65. Your converted frame color cased in Traditional bone and charcoal
$560 on your 1860 ( + Roll engraved option Price: $25.00 ) = $ 585

"Yes we do Richards & Mason conversions, but we suggest the conversion kits, because we are extremely backlogged and it could take a long time to get one completed. The price for a conversion is $1200.00.

The phone call (woman) had me look to the website to total the cost ( $585 is what it totaled ) and seemed to match another quote given in the same thread .... I don't know what to think now ?
