I can't remember who it was, but somebody that used to shoot with C.O.W.S. told me he had a Walker bored to .50 cal. Said he planned on deer hunting with it.

Major, I remember seeing one at a gun show back in the 80s, but haven't seen one since till that video. Not sure how many were made or for how long, but it'll probably be easier searching for the needle in the haystack.

Fortunately, ASM went bust a long while back. I say fortunately as their quality control simply didn't exist in the last few years of their existence. Early on though, ASM made some very high quality Cap Guns. That 50 could be a lot of fun with a decent front sight.

I agree about ASM quality control. I got a matched pair of the original Richards Masons in 44 Colt. One was beautiful with perfect fit and finish and clockwork timing. The other was a 3 or 4 shot paperweight....

If I were to begin a search for one , my first place looking would be
https://www.octobercountry.com/doc-james-daviss-revolver-collection/
October Country bought Dr. James Davis's Collection of black powder revolvers from Claremore, OK.
