Gentlemen, How is the quality of the Blakeslee Quick Loader offered by Blockade Runner?  Are they U.S. made?

I realize this isn't the one from Blockade Runner, but this is what I thought of the one from Coon Creek:

working on upgrading my box now with tube tops....3/4 inch copper pipe fits perfectly,  epoxy drying now.

did the original tube have any kind of coating.  black japanned?  painted?
looking at a cold galvanizing spray paint too...
I want to make it neat and all the same color.  I'm anal..I know.
etc.  Ken

OK, here is the final.  I cut 3/4 inch copper pipe,  perfect tight slip fit over the tubes.  rounded, sanded etc.  epoxy in place.
then coated with Home depot zinc coating paint.
 .
The tubes were flush to the top, hard to grasp, cut a 1 inch piece of wine cork pushed inside raided them up.
the leather cover fits it all perfectly

don't laugh, I have the flu and am stuck in the house for a week.  Ken
PS use a black permanent marker to darken the white thread.

Nice looking work, Ken:

Haven't seen that version of tubes.
Do the ends fit into the butt cavity for loading, please?

I  have a picture of an original.  too bad I cant post it.  'too large'  ??    It looks the same as the one I did.
They seem to work fine.  push against the butt and they all fall in.  the tubes are fragile and ends bend easily so this protects them and
 'looks good too'

again.  one week with the flu and wife is visiting family for a few days. so I'm stuck doing things like this....HA  Ken

and one more final note.  I darkened the WHITE threads using black shoe polish.
I just used a black indelible magic marker and three minutes later they are black and permanent
DUH.
