Mine is my Uberti Henry in 44-40. I have been a fan of Henry rifles since 1976. On my 10th birthday, my folks got me the Old West series from Time Life. I had left subtle hints for months. First book is Gunfighters and it had a picture of a iron frame Henry. It spoke to me. I did a deep dive on finding out about them. Then in college, Silverado came out. It was a house favorite. Fast forward to late 90s, we are in New Orleans for our 10th Anniversary. Antique gun shop in the French Quarter had a real Henry. Bargain price of $28,000. I drooled over it and visited it 4 times during our stay. Few months later we are going to Vegas, in the banter on the plane, I told my wife if we win enough, I am buying a Henry. She agreed, thinking we would never win enough that my portion would cover 28K. Well, I had maybe not told her they made replicas. We won, and on the plane I explained that I would be ordering a Henry. After I explained that I was getting a new replica, she felt I had done a bit of a con on her. I have the Henry, but she asks way more questions of clarification.
