It would be great if we had a separate 1866 forum.

But the 1866 is the "Improved Henry" - so said Winchester.  :)

PLUS ONE too Abilene.

Perhaps had we petitioned for a separate 1866 Forum 10 or 15 years ago, we may have had enough activity to justify one.  Today ???  Nah.  There just isn't enough consistent activity on the Rifle boards to really give credence to an 1866 breakout.  Currently the Forums are quite slow even with the forums we have.  Wouldn't hold my breath.  Won't look good in "Dead Blue."

Not to knock your idea, Virginia Gentleman, but I agree with Coffinmaker.  The 60 forum is my favorite and I wish there were new topics every day.  But unfortunately, the traffic is light.

I myself look upon them as the same rifle.  The 66 simply improved.

Billy
