New Vaquero hammer strut lock removal
« on: February 16, 2019, 10:16:14 AM »
I am more familiar on the "old" full sized Vaqueros than the NV's.
We have several "old" Vaqueros in our outfit.

So I am in the dark about some the NV's that have the lock as the spring seat in the grip frame.
I am removing the lock on one because I am trying to tune it to feel like another NV that does NOT have the silly lock.

Where do I find a spring seat that has the length to fit across the larger gap that is "as cast" in the lock-type grip frame?

One of the visiting shooters told me that a Bearcat spring seat will work as the lock replacement bridge.
Does anyone know for sure?

Respects,
Mustang
