USFA 1851 Navy .36 Photos
« on: September 12, 2023, 03:53:17 PM »
Howdy.  Kind of slow around here so I thought I would post a couple of pictures of my USFA 1851 Navy.  It is new unfired/unturned with the original sleeve, box, pistol bag, paperwork, and box.  I was told by a very knowledgeable collector/author that this one is #1 of the USFA 1851 Navies with the oval trigger guard.  The estimate is that USFA made 50 of these 1851 navies with the oval trigger guard.

It is slow here but that is a nice gun. I've never handled a USFA percussion revolver but they look amazing. Maybe I will see one at a gun show sometime. Thanks for posting!

I count myself very lucky to have been able to get this 1851.

I would have paid good money for USFA cartridge conversions, had they gone headlong into that genre. The scant few that do exist are way more than I'd want to part with.
