I know of a 73 in 44-40 that has about 1500-2000 Rounds run through it per month and this has been maybe 8 or nine years in CAS shooting.
It has held up fine and the owner ( A gun dealer & SASS winner ) continues to use it as his main match Rifle.
I have a Henry which have seen a lot of use. It was a gift from my wife about 5 Christmas ago. This Henry is my second, my first, I bought from Navy Arms in 1982 it is still going strong though sadly is not mine anymore.
I also have owned a 66 Yellow Boy SRC in 38 which I trade for in about 1982-3 it was a fine gun as well , though I sold it ( mainly because I wanted a 44-40).....
All of these have the toggle action, I've yet to have one break ! Though I did screw up the feed spring on first Henry.
I plan to buy a Cimmaron 73 in the near future. Though I find the Henry a more stable POA ( because of the design of the Barrel ) in Florida It do get HOT ! I opp for the wood forearm.
Maybe the 92 is a stronger action ... but the Spencer is stronger still ( I have and orginial )
