Morning y'all.
Coffee and tea are ready.

I didn't see a snake in the 1.5 years I was in the Branson area.

'Tis 45 and overcast. "Cloudy. Showers in the morning  then a chance of showers in the afternoon. Highs in the lower 60s. Northeast wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 90 percent."

I've been here on my ranchette 35 years, on rare occasion I've seen common Garter snakes, Black Racers.
I even killed a pygmy rattler once in a hedge.
This is the first Coral snake I've ever seen in person, at least not on display in a Serpentarium.

Morning all.

55 headed for 90 in our corner of the golden state.

Been having fun at the new job. Been doing a lot of training hikes, and training some smaller skills. Yesterday I taught classes on spinal injuries and map/compass navigation. I have also been promoted to be one of the “bearer of radios,” and  one of the “fire line route deciders.” Small things, but in the world of wildfire they’re important.

Supposed to hit 88 today and enjoying "the air you wear" humidity. Anyway supposed to cool off the next coupla days. My back is still sore from loading/unloading out two tables at the Shoot last week, but it got the store a lot of attention and covered our labor cost [me]. Anyway took all the goodies back to the store today and the 18 year old got to unload my truck!  :D The Missus got home from her jaunt to Nevada on Saturday about the same time I got back from the shoot, so the weekend was much improved.

 Morning y'all.
Coffee and tea are ready.

Got called into verk early yesterday. It was an easy fix after I determined what was the cause.

Got new tires on the Suburban, yesterday. Just shy of $800.  ::)

'Tis 48 and cloudy. "Mostly sunny. A slight chance of showers in the afternoon. Highs in the upper 70s. West wind 10 to 15 mph shifting to the north in the afternoon. Chance of rain 20 percent."

Morning folks, 78 here already heading to 82. Supposed to rain this afternoon/evening. Trying to figure out what to do on a 66Uberti with a funky rear sight. Gonna have to do some close measuring. Thanks to @coffinmaker for helping me out!

Rain forecast, was premature again yesterday.
It did cloud up some and a thunderclap was heard off in the distance, but no rain fell.
I guess that's what 50% means....

Todays' agenda is "winging it", I may get to a pending honey Do that involves my pressure washer.
Then Maybe head over and poke head in the door and my friends LGS.  :-\

Slept in this AM, working on cuppa #3 right now. 79 here, supposed to hit 82 today and be in the upper 70s or low 8os through the weekend. Working this afternoon at the gunstore and tomorrow too. A young guy who has worked there through his High School has graduated and so he is back with us. Good kid, real nice to have around.

Well yeah, even more so was the revolver I was interested in handling sold the day before...
  It was a S&W Model 637 airweight 38.
Oh well, Say la Vee  :-X

I have some errands to run... Gator Pools for a water sample test and some chemicals, then Ace Hardware
for some silicone and then a haircut.
I'll hit the LGS just because I missed it yesterday, and probably Firehouse for a sandwich....

I'm going to the Polk Co. historical museum tomorrow.
  More on that perhaps, mañana....

A Masked Bandit bit the dust today. Wife caught a coon in the henhouse this morning, I guess Mrs Coon figured out to wait until daytime, after we let the chickens out, then go in and help herself to some eggs, and maybe a chicken or two. I was doing some farm equipment repairs, she comes driving up, honking. I grab my Ruger Standard auto, top off the magazine, and off we go. At the first shot, it started "flip flopping" all around the coop. Then it started to flip flop closer to me...in a small coop...I did a "mag dump" on it. Good thing I topped it off. Wife was surprised it didn't just fall over dead, told her this isn't the movies.

Pony, good shooting! Those coons can take a lot of lead sometimes, tough little buggers. The LGS I part time at took in a S&W K22 yesterday, lots of holster wear, but really tight. Gonna see what it will cost me today. 80 here already, only supposed to get to 83 and rain. The Missus is off giving piano lessons and I will be working this afternoon. Think I will take her out to dinner tonight. Y'all have a good day.

My trek today saw me in a circle tour of parts of 5 counties.
Up in Lake County we had lunch at Coyote Rojo, authentic Mexican.
I had the Carne Asada, and the in-house Salsa they bring to wet your taste buds was super.
I bought a container to bring home.

Hit 93 degrees and just missed a shower on my way home driving through the mist rising off the Turnpike.
All in all, was fun day  :D

Had men's breakfast at church yesterday morning. Then got the bush hog hooked to the tractor and beat back the brush down the lane.
