I'll take the other side. It was your holy grail gun because you wanted a Colt, not because you wanted a Bisley. The second Gen is also a Colt and you would get to enjoy it more perhaps. Do you enjoy shooting the Bisley? That might make a difference. Here's something else to consider if you keep it. A lot of commemorative Colts were 2nd gens. Once those have been shot their value is less than a regular 2nd gen, but they are the same quality. Lots are gaudy, but some, like the NRA Centennial, have a marking on the barrel but with the bluing it is subtle. I have one, it was a little scratched and had a timing problem, so I got it for $1000 and got an action job on it. Now, 20 years later, it is worth more, sure, but not a whole lot more. So, keep used cimmemoratives in mind. (of course in current times, prices for anything are ***who knows***)
