Title: Swiss?
Post by: King Medallion on October 23, 2021, 04:38:27 PM
So I'm shopping around for Swiss BP, 2F, and I'm finding there are 2 different 2F's? One is the blue label, tother is a brown label. What's the difference? If I'm understanding it, the blue label is a "ball type" which is supposed to meter better.

I wasn't aware of the Swiss Ball Powder either; but here it says it's available in 1,5 Fg and 3 Fg granulations on their website.  They also refer to the Ball Powder as "caviar powder", due to its similarity with Russian Caviar.
I would strongly advice against spreading "Swiss Caviar" on your slice of toast, though...  ;D

Powder Valley has 2F Goex in stock at this moment, and Olde Ensford. Just ordered 5 lbs of the Goex. Better than no powder.

Olde Eynsford nearly rivals Swiss from my experience.

I just looked and those prices are crazy, plain Goex higher than I bought Swiss and Olde E for just a few months ago shipping included from Powder Inc.

I'm scared what this Goex shutting down is going to do to prices in the future.

From the beginning of this debacle I was wondering how the manufacturor is going to handle the commitments to the US military that they are on the line  for....
I have been trying to chase down any facts and am coming up completely empty.

Yhs prf marbles

36 bucks a pound after shipping and hazmat though.  :o  Hope that isn't the new norm but I'm afraid it might be.

Hope your right on the New Normal. Have you looked at caps?!!! That is, if you can find anybody that has 'em.
