Looking at a 1911 in Super .38 at the store, but I am out of wide hammers. They don't chew up my hand like the regular spur does.

That's interesting.  I thought the reason they went to thin spurs was because the wide ones were chewing people up?

38 SUPER??  Had one oncest.  Sorry I ever sold it.  Wide Spur hammer is a great Ider, but I'd also add a swell Beaver Tail Grip Safety to go with.  Also my understand DNR is establishing seasons for trapping Beaver.  Making them tails harder to come by.  Burma Shave
