Very nice 1873 Winchester Rifle in .38WCF (38-40). 4467XX B Left factory in 1893.  Very nice shootable bore.  All original condition and unaltered. Wood is exceptional, metal is mostly plumb brown.  I've shot it some with BigLube soft lead bullets with SPG in deep groove and 2Fg and 3Fg, mainly Schuetzen. I got this rifle in a trade shortly after I met Mike Venturino when I lived near him in Livingston, Montana, along with a set of dies and some new Winchester brass, which I'll include with the rifle. I don't know the history before Mike got it. The only thing missing is the dust cover, which are easily sourced, I just never got around to getting one.  I've taken an antelope and a mule deer with this rifle and it's very smooth and a pleasure to shoot.  I'll send a bunch of pictures by email if you are interested in it and you are welcome to look at it in person here at the ranch near Clifton, Texas (not far from Waco). I'm asking a reasonable even $2K.  (not much more than a Uberti repro, and it's a historic Montana gun with a lost past!) Message me and I'll send you my phone # and email address, Abilene gave me a heads up about posting my contact info for all to see... you are always welcome visit here at the ranch -  Clifton, Texas - Thanks, Chuck R.

Howdy Chuck, sounds like a cool rifle.  You really should remove your contact information from your post.  Scammers have been coming out of the woodwork ever since the pandemic it seems.  Always best to deal with sales through the private messages.  Good luck!
