 :) Hi Ya King  ;)

If it's a Uberti, The Mag Tube cap was overtorque'd at the time of assembly.  Uberti also included complementary free rust in the Mag Tube.  You know, fun stuff.  Brownells has a wide, thin screwdriver tip that will fit and also chuck up in yer quarter inch impact driver.  Whether rassling  with with some form screwdriver or impact driver, be sure to support the mag tube to keep it from turning.  Gunz-R-Funzies

An antique replica rifle in a modern chambering, not existing in the 1800's is a complete contradiction in terms and spirit of the game. . . in my opinion.

Morning all, and happy Armistice.

Currently 55 degrees and clear, heading for 70. Supposed to get rain tomorrow, we'll see if we actually do.

Quote from: RoyceP on November 11, 2025, 09:34:40 AMCan't see buying one. A caliber that is smaller than 38 Special? No thanks.
Although SASS legal with a smooth thread cap on the muzzle, this gun was not really intended for SASS but for non-cowboys who like 9mm and will put a suppressor on it.  As far as smaller than .38 Spcl, only by a couple thousandths and easily as or more powerful.  And are you badmouthing my 32-20's?  :)

I can't see buying a lever action rifle in a caliber that is smaller than 38 Special. It's pretty expensive too. Pass.
