Hey King.  Yeah them dang things are always tight and too skinny for most wide screwdriver tips.  Uniquetek sells a wrench for 66/73 which should work:

I think SlixSprings also has a tool, but their website isn't working right now.

Some people used to use a piece of a hacksaw blade clamped in vice-grips.

So here in Illinois we can now use single shot straight wall cartridges for deer hunting. I have cleared it with the game warden that the 45/60 is a straight walled cartridge. So I want to make my rifle a single shot by putting a wooden dowel in the mag tube, just like I did with my 94 38/55. It appears that one simply screws off the end cap on the tube. Correct? It is so tight I can't move it. Suggestions?
